As a corporate and commercial associate, she routinely handles company incorporation, restructuring, liquidation, and compliance matters for businesses of varied scales, ranging from multinational corporations, and international companies to SMEs.
She has experience in advising domestic and cross-border corporate and commercial transactions within the United Arab Emirates (UAE) free zones and for offshore companies registered in the UAE. She is well-versed in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a vast array of commercial arrangements, including Manufacturing and Supply Agreement, Agency and Distribution Agreement, Trade Secret Licensing Agreement, Shareholders’ Agreement, Nominee Shareholder’s Agreement and Non-Disclosure Agreements.
Prior to joining the Corporate and Commercial practice group, Vivian advised companies and financial institutions as well as global commodity traders/suppliers in high-value cross-border disputes arising out of defaulted syndicated facility, goods sold and delivered, breach of sale/carriage contracts and more, some of which led to ship arrests within the UAE waters and subsequent judicial ship sales.
She has also previously advised on the enforcement of foreign judgments and arbitral awards through the onshore process, including under the mutual recognition regime between the Dubai Courts and the Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC) Courts.
Vivian co-authored the UAE Chapter for Chambers and Partners’ Global Practice Guide on Litigation as well as the Enforcement of Judgments, Law and Practice for 4 and 2 consecutive years respectively.

His expertise lies at handling both contentious and non-contentious issues and advises clients on strategies involving a wide range of corporate and intellectual property matters covering both prosecution and enforcement. He has been involved in managing corporate portfolios across various industries. His forte lies in drafting and vetting varied forms of commercial agreements/contracts, technical knowhow agreement, licensing arrangements including third party/vendor contracts, non-disclosure agreements, data protection laws including those covered by GDPR, manufacturing of goods agreement, business development and service agreement, brand acquisition agreement, intellectual property assignment deed/s, etc.
In 2008 Rajiv’s name appeared in the August edition of the ‘Who’s Who legal’ publication of UK as being a “notable practitioner” in UAE. He has also been recognized as being one amongst “Recommended lawyers - Trademark Prosecution/Litigation” – by Leaders League Intelligence Report & Directory Series, years 2017, 2018 & “Highly Recommended” for 2020/2021. In 2019, Rajiv’s name appeared as a ranked prosecution lawyer in Managing Intellectual Property (MIP). His name was also listed in World’s Leading Trademarks professionals by World Trademarks Review (WTR) for the years 2020, 2021, & 2022 for India, and years 2023 & 2024 for UAE. Rajiv’s name also appears in the list of IP experts compiled by AsiaIP for the years 2021 and 2022. He was awarded Certificate of Appreciation from the ‘LexisNexis Middle East’ for authoring 35 practical notes on varied Federal laws in UAE. His views as an expert legal counsel on local UAE laws have also appeared in Gulf News.

In a career spanning over 20 years Feras has gained exemplorary legal experience in litigation and dispute resolution. He served as a judge within the Syrian Ministry of Justice for a decade and has contributed his expertise as a senior legal advisor at Alsuwaidi & Company for the past 11 years.
Feras is distinguished by his unwavering adherence to ethical principles. Leveraging his deep expertise, he has great proficiency as both a scholarly writer in Arabic and also a diligent and discerning researcher. Feras obtained a Bachelor of Law from Aleppo University in 2001. He obtained his judicial Diploma Qualification in 2005 from the Syrian Ministry of Justice.
Feras has a Human Law Certificate from the International Committee of the Red Cross, Geneva in Training Course International. He also attended several courses in arbitration in the Emirate of Ajman between 2014 - 2015.
Feras is fluent in Arabic, English and French.

Ibrahim is fluent in Arabic and English, and has intermediate competency in French and basic Greek.
Prior to joining Alsuwaidi & Company, Ibrahim was a legal consultant for a leading commercial bank. He represented the banks before courts and government, and negotiated and drafted legal documents and contracts. He oversaw the insolvency cases of the bank’s clients, and assisted bank managers in compliance and custody matters. He further supervised external bank lawyers and administered legal training workshops as a certified legal trainer.

Vida attended the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law in New York, USA where she obtained a Master of Laws (LLM) and was awarded the Dean’s Merit Scholarship. She further obtained Bachelor of Laws from the San Beda College (College of Law), in Manilla and was admitted to the Philippine Bar, and was placed in top 5% of newly admitted lawyers.
Vida holds an undergraduate degree, BSc in Business Management, Graduated with Honors from De La Salle University, Manilla Philippines and attended the Simon Fraser University in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada on a student exchange program.

Mohammed’s insurance experience relates to litigation arising out of property all risks, such as physical loss and damages to the property due to fire, or natural disasters; contractor’s all risks; transport related insurance such as land cargo, air cargo, marine cargo, car insurance, and marine hull insurance; construction related, such as the insurance of workmen’s compensation against work injuries, banker’s blanket bond insurance, public liability’s insurance, life insurance and all claims arising from transactions between insurance entities.
He possesses indepth understanding of UAE litigation, and his interpretation of Sharia laws and principles, and promulgating provisions, and regulations of UAE has enabled him to secure successful resolution for his clients. Mohammed has an excellent track record in defending his client’s interest.

He has conducted several arbitrations in the region and is a recognized maritime, insurance and intellectual property lawyer. Reda leads the Litigation team in commercial, construction, employment, medical negligence and real estate.
Reda’s has a strong understanding of Sharia Law and court which he applies strategically to dispute matters, legal consultation, and any client matter to generate a positive outcome. Further to this, he boasts an exceptional track record.
Reda has held a number of prominent positions as legal advisor to government and quasi government entities. This included being involved in the legal committee that drafted federal housing laws in the UAE. Reda is well known in the UAE market and is often called upon by a number of regional publications for legal opinions and known how.

He advises national and international organisations on licensing, agency, distributorship and franchise. Suneer has incorporated over 250 different entities in free zones, onshore and offshore for individuals, multinational corporations and juridical persons.
Suneer is involved in the restructuring of companies in various jurisdictions and has significant transactional experience. He is often instructed to assist in the liquidation of companies in UAE and recently, was involved in advising UAE liquidators and global liquidators of an International Bank with branches in the UAE, which is in liquidation.
He is legal advisor to several prominent and leading family conglomerates with diversified business activities in UAE and beyond. Suneer supports national and multinational companies on UAE employment laws, and advises on regulatory frame works and HR Policies.

Mohammed Alsuwaidi is Founding and Managing Partner of Alsuwaidi & Company. Prior to founding Alsuwaidi & Company, Mohammed was the Head of Legal at Emirates General Petroleum Corporation. Over the past two decades, Mohammed has carved an enviable arbitration practice, supporting reputable names in the GCC and beyond.
Mohammed’s career is firmly rooted in the UAE. He is a prominent and learned professional in UAE law and has been called upon as a UAE law expert on numerous international arbitrations. To date, he has been appointed as an arbitrator on more than 80 arbitrations.
His commitment to the legal industry has been strong throughout his career. He was Vice Chairman of the Jurist Association in the UAE, was President of the Organization of Young Arab Lawyers, Deputy Chairman of the UAE Jurists Association and a former Board Member of the Human Rights Association in the UAE.
Today, Mohammed holds numerous memberships with established, international arbitration associations, and he is a licensed arbitrator in the International Islamic Centre for Reconciliation and Arbitration.
