Family Groups
Alsuwaidi & Company supports the region’s leading family offices and their businesses
Combining our multidisciplinary approach with the nuanced understanding of the UAE and a full service business law firm, Alsuwaidi & Company’s Family Office practice advises ultra-high-net-worth individuals on establishing and operating family offices in the region. Our lawyers are familiar with the formation of family office structures, and can assist with estate and succession planning. We handle dispositon, merger, and acquisition family offices, as well as co-investment deals involving other family offices or investors.
With family offices operating multiple businesses within niche sectors, we are able to support such offices across their business services – providing a seamless legal service that puts their business interest first. This includes assisting with any real estate transaction, construction agreements or any personal property acquisitions. We are able to advise on the purchase, sale and leasing of boats, aircrafts and other assets.
Our dispute resolution team offer a complementary service to support our Family office Practice should matters turn contentious. In addition to full representation before the UAE courts, DIFC, ADGM, we also offer arbitration services should more discrete dispute resolution be required.
