Mohamed Elmasry joined Alsuwaidi & Company’s Dubai office as an Associate in 2019 and has since built a strong reputation for delivering strategic, commercially grounded solutions across a wide spectrum of disputes. His practice focuses on real estate matters, commercial disputes, employment cases, tenancy matters, and contract-related claims, including disputes arising from force majeure events, sudden or unforeseen incidents and foreign causes beyond the parties’ control. He also handles aviation-related disputes, including matters involving commercial aviation operations and passenger claims arising from flight disruptions, cancellations or other exceptional circumstances, where he consistently secures successful outcomes for his clients.
Mohamed represents regional, international, and local companies operating across industries including aviation, technology, oil and gas, retail, construction, and real estate development. He is known for his measured, client-focused approach and for taking the time to understand each client’s business, to provide solutions that genuinely protect their commercial interests and position them favorably in negotiations and litigation.
Before joining Alsuwaidi & Company, Mohamed started his career at Shalakany Law Firm in Egypt, where he gained a strong foundation in civil and commercial law. He later served as in-house counsel at Alexandria Petroleum Maintenance Company (Petromaint), working as a Contracts Specialist, handling subcontracting arrangements, SPA agreements, maintenance contracts, and crude-oil transportation contracts. Mohamed’s clients include regional, international, and local companies operating across all sectors including, aviation, technology, oil and gas, retail, construction, and real estate development.

Mohamed has also completed significant professional development programs, including the Multilaw Academy held in Chiang Mai, Thailand, in August 2023. In addition, he holds a certification from Alexandria University’s Faculty of Law for successfully completing a specialized course in the translation of Maritime and Aviation Contracts. Mohamed holds an LLB from Alexandria University and is a member of the Egyptian Bar Association.
He is fluent in Arabic and English.
