Suneer leads the corporate and commercial team. He is active across sectors, including, government and quasi government, real estate, technology, and oil and gas.
He advises national and international organisations on licensing, agency, distributorship and franchise. Suneer has incorporated over 250 different entities in free zones, onshore and offshore for individuals, multinational corporations and juridical persons.
Suneer is involved in the restructuring of companies in various jurisdictions and has significant transactional experience. He is often instructed to assist in the liquidation of companies in UAE and recently, was involved in advising UAE liquidators and global liquidators of an International Bank with branches in the UAE, which is in liquidation.
He is legal advisor to several prominent and leading family conglomerates with diversified business activities in UAE and beyond. Suneer supports national and multinational companies on UAE employment laws, and advises on regulatory frame works and HR Policies.
Suneer maintains an active presence in UAE law. He is a visiting professor at the University of Dubai, lecturing on UAE labor law and has conducted various seminars for UAE employment law.
Suneer supports Alsuwaidi & Company clients on advising on different types of civil obligations in UAE and outside UAE. He frequently works with the dispute resolution team on disputes related to sale contracts of movable and immovable freehold properties, lease, plot sale and purchase, master community declaration, mortgage, loans, agency and other civil obligations.

Suneer obtained an LLM from the University of London and a MCIArb from the Chartered Institute of Arbitrator, UK. He also holds a Bachelor of Economics from the University of Calicuta), and LLB from the University of Bombay, and an LLM from the University of Bombay. He has attended various seminars and arbitration trainings in the UK, Germany and United Arab Emirates.
