At the beginning of April 2026, Dubai’s Department of Economy and Tourism announced a new package of economic support measures aimed at strengthening the business environment and supporting companies operating across the emirate.
The initiative includes the deferral of several fees for a period of three months, effective from 1 April 2026. The deferred fees cover trade licence amendment fees, advertising fees on trade licences, local fees, as well as optional fees related to trade names.
These measures have been introduced as part of ongoing efforts to support business continuity, reduce financial burdens on companies, and enhance liquidity, ultimately contributing to sustainable growth across Dubai’s economic and tourism sectors.
In light of these developments, businesses are encouraged to review their current status and take the necessary steps to benefit from the announced measures within the applicable timeframe.
Alsuwaidi & Company invites businesses to contact us for professional support in handling all procedures related to these measures. Our services include, but are not limited to, trade licence updates, amendments, regulatory compliance, and the management of any related requirements
